Difficulty: easy
Yield: 2 snail pizzas
For the dough
For the filling
1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until you get a dough (make sure that the salt and the yeast are not in contact with each other, otherwise the dough will not rise). Cover with a clean kitchen towel. Place in a warm space and allow to rest until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
2. Preheat the oven to 400° F (200° C).
3. Divide the dough in 8 parts (4 for each pizza).
4. Spread each piece into a puddle.
5. Arrange the puddles into a snail, on a tray covered with a baking paper, tying them to each other (leave space between, as the dough will rise).
6. Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes.
7. Spread the tomato paste between the snail.
8. Cut the ham and spread it. Do the same with the mozzarella.
9. Spread some olives or capers, or anything you like.
10. Spread some basil or origan.
11. Bake for about 20 minutes at 400° F (200° C).
