A cake combining hazelnuts and chocolate chips cannot be bad! So try this easy recipe without further ado.

Baking Time: 70-80 minutes at 350° F (180° C)

For: a rectangular mold of 12.5 inches long or a round mold of 11 inches of diameter (32 cm or 28 cm)
Ingredients
- 1 cup + 1 tablespoon of butter, softened (250 g)
- 1 1/4 cup of granulated sugar (275 g)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 6 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour (350 g)
- 2 tablespoons of baking powder
- 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips (150 g)
- 1 1/3 cup of ground hazelnuts (150 g)
- 1/2 cup of chopped hazelnuts, (50 g)
- 2/3 cup of black coffee (espresso), cold (1.5 dl)
- 3 tablespoons of milk (0.5 dl)
- icing sugar for the decoration (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F (180° C)
2. Work the butter until the formation of small ridges.
3. Add the sugar and salt, then the eggs and mix until the mass becomes lighter.
4. Sift the flour mixed with the baking powder, add and mix.
5. Stir in chocolate, hazelnuts, coffee and milk.
6. Pour the dough into a mold lined with parchment paper, smooth.
7. Bake for about 60-70 minutes.
8. Sprinkle the cooled cake with icing sugar, if you wish, and slice.
