An air-fryer recipe for lemon chicken. The chicken first rests in a marinade, before being dipped in a batter, then cooked in the air-fryer.
It is served with a succulent lemon sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 breast filet, cut into thin slices
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 cup of chicken broth (2.5 dl)
- 1/3 cup of sugar (75 g)
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of salt
For the marinade
- 1 tablespoon of rice wine
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
For the batter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup of cornstarch (38 g)
Instructions
Combine the ingredients for the marinade, and marinate the chicken strips for 15 minutes.
After this time, mix together in the batter, coating each slice well.
Preheat the air-fryer at 400°F (205°C). Place the chicken slices in it and cook for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a non-stick frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and stir-fry the lemon slices over medium heat.
Quickly mix the chicken broth, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and salt in a small bowl and pour it over the lemon slices. Cook for 3 minutes, or until sauce is thickened and translucent.
Pour the sauce over the chicken slices and serve hot with rice.
