This is the best focaccia you can make, taste, love and make forever!
Prep Time : 10 minutes
Rest Time : 1h30
Baking Time : 20 minutes at 390°F (200° C)
Difficulty : easy
Ingredients
For the dough
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour (250 g)
- 1 sachet of active dry yeast
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil (25 g)
- 2/3 cupof warm water (1.5 dl)
For the filling
- olive oil
- fleur de sel
- rosemary
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for 10 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
2. Put the dough on a lightly floured surface. Roll it very delicately, only to stretch it a little. If you stretch it too much, the dough will lose its lightness and will not rise accordingly.
3. Put the dough directly and delicately on the baking tray.
4. With your thumb, make some holes and pour olive oil inside the holes. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 390° F (200° C).
6. After the rest time, spread some “fleur de sel” and rosemary.
7. Bake for 20 minutes.
8. Cut the focaccia just before serving, otherwise it will dry.
