Savory “mikados” for your appetizer? Nothing could be easier with this recipe, which uses breadsticks, cream cheese, pistachios and peanuts.
Simply spread cream cheese on the tip of the breadsticks, then dip each one in crushed pistachios or peanuts.

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp. pistachios
- 3 tbsp. peanuts
- 1 pack plain breadsticks (220 g – 8 oz)
- 4.2 oz fresh herb cream cheese (120 g)
Instructions
Remove the cream cheese from the fridge about 1 h before starting the recipe, to allow it to soften.
Crush the pistachios, then the peanuts, and place each in a small dish.
Using a spatula, spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the tip of each breadstick.
Roll each breadstick in crushed pistachios or peanuts.
Present the breadsticks in glasses for serving. Warning: once decorated, the breadsticks soften quickly, so prepare them at the last minute and serve immediately!
