A new apple cake recipe, in the form of a moist cake with flaked almonds, for a very nice gourmet touch!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Baking Time: 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C)
Difficulty: easy
For: a round mold of 10 inches (26 cm) diameter
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup of almonds powder (200 g)
- 1 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon of icing sugar (200 g)
- 1/2 cup of salted butter, melted (if unsalted butter, add 1 pinch of salt) (100 g)
- 4 eggs
- 2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
- slivered almonds for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Mix the almond powder and icing sugar in a food processor.
- Stir in the melted butter while continuing to mix.
- Add the eggs one by one, mixing between each addition.
- Stir in the diced apples. Mix with a spatula before pouring into the mold.
- Sprinkle with slivered almonds and bake for 30 minutes.
- Wait a few minutes before unmoulding.
