Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Difficulty: easy
Yield: 4 persons
Ingredients
For the chicken balls
- 2 chicken escalopes
- 1 onion
- 1.5 tablespoon of basil
- 1 egg
- salt-pepper
- 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
For the sauce
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 5 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons of cold water
Instructions
1. Peel the onion and mix it.
2. Cut the chicken in cubes, then mix them as well.
3. In a medium bowl, mix the chicken, the onion, the egg, the basil. Add salt and pepper and mix well with your fingers.
4. In a soup plate, pour the flour.
5. Take a little mass in your hands, then roll into the flour, so as to get balls. Place the balls on a plate.
6. Heat the oil in the frying pan. Place the balls and cook for 2-3 minutes all the way around.
7. Reduce the heat. Add honey. When it begins to caramelize, add soy sauce and cold water. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring lightly, so that the balls are bathed in the juice.
8. Serve with rice or pasta.
