Chocolate paving stones are a versatile recipe, as they can be served as a dessert, snack or breakfast. We’ll always find a small place to put one in our mouths!
It’s a simple recipe to make that’s always well appreciated!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Baking Time: 15 minutes at 400° F (200° C)
Difficulty: easy
For: a baking tray of 13.25 x 9.25 inches

For the frosting
1. In the robot bowl, blanch the eggs with the sugar.
2. Add vanilla sugar and cocoa and stir.
3. Stir in milk and mix.
4. Sift the flour and baking powder, then add to the mixture and mix.
5. Melt the butter, then add to the mixture.
6. Spread the dough on the baking sheet.
7. Cook for about 15 minutes at 400° F (200° C) (check with a knife tip, you can see that on the picture!).
8. Allow the cake to cool.
9. Prepare the frosting by mixing all the ingredients. Pour over the cake, smooth the surface.
10. If you want, spread the grated coconut on the frosting before it hardens.
11. Cut the cold cake into regular paving stones.
The best part: a light cake and a delicious coffee frosting!
