Still hesitating about your Holiday appetizer? Here’s the solution to your problems with these delicious canapés made with puff pastry, camembert, red onions and cranberries. I’ve chosen to present them in the shape of a star, but it’s up to you to choose the shape that pleases you!

Baking Time: 12 minutes at 428°F (220°C)

Yield : approx. 50 stars
Ingredients
For the garnish
- 1 shallot, minced
- 2 tbsp. dried cranberries, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
For the stars
- 1 rolled-out rectangular puff pastry
- 1 beaten egg
- 5.3 oz Camembert cheese, cut into thin slices (150 g)
- ½ tsp. salt
- a little pepper
Instructions
Combine the shallot, cranberries and vinegar and macerate for about 5 minutes.
Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured work surface. Cut out stars.
Place on two baking sheets lined with baking paper.
Brush with egg. Place a slice of cheese on each star.
Spread the garnish on top and season.
Bake for 12 minutes in the lower part of the oven preheated to 428°F (220°C).
Remove from oven and cool slightly on a wire rack.
