1. Start by preparing the puff pastry. In the tank of the robot, mix the flour and the salt.
2. Cut the butter into small cubes and add to the bowl.
3. Add the water and mix until a more or less homogeneous dough is obtained. It is quite normal that the dough is sticky and that there are pieces of butter, they will be incorporated later.
4. Flour the work surface and roll out the dough so that it forms a rectangle 3 times longer than wide, about half an inch thick (1-2 cm).
5. Fold the upper half towards the center, then do the same with the lower part.
6. Turn the dough a quarter and repeat the operation 4 times by flouring each time, so as to make 5 turns in all and for all.
7. At this point, the dough can be frozen or placed in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
8. After 1 hour of rest, remove the dough and spread it finely on a floured work surface.
9. Preheat the oven tat 355°F.
10. Spread the cheese.
13. Cut strips about 1 inch wide (2 cm).
14. Fold each strip like an accordion.
15. Plant two trees in each peak.
16. Place the peaks on a baking sheet.
17. Bake for about 25 minutes.
