Halloween is tomorrow and to celebrate it with dignity, here is a recipe for an appetizer that will delight young and old!
Serve these wood elf femurs with your favorite dipping sauces, such as curry sauce, ketchup sauce or caper sauce!

Yield: about 15 femurs
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour (250 g)
- 1/3 cup + 3 tablespoons of lukewarm water (12 cl)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 sachet of active-dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons of origano
- 2 pinches of salt
Instructions
In the bowl of a food processor, mix all the ingredients until you obtain a homogeneous dough, avoiding the salt and the yeast to be in direct contact.
Place in a bowl, cover and let the dough rise for 1h30, it should double in size.
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Separate the dough into 15 small pieces and roll them into balls of different sizes.
Make an incision of about 0.80 inches (2 cm) at each end and roll them to create a bone shape.
Place the femurs on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Sprinkle the femurs with fleur de sel and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes.
Let cool and serve with dipping sauces.
