This Lebanese pizza recipe is made with a pizza dough on which we put the zaatar and olive oil.
Zaatar (in Arabic zaʿtar) is a blend of Middle Eastern spices used in Levantine cuisine. As with any blend, the proportions vary from grocer to grocer, but generally include thyme, oregano, savory, sesame seeds, sumac, marjoram and possibly green anise, coriander and cumin.
Cut into pieces, this Lebanese pizza is ideal for the appetizer or to accompany other dishes, according to your choice.

Place all the ingredients of the dough in the food processor, making sure that salt and yeast are not in direct contact. Mix for about 10 minutes, until the dough is homogeneous and elastic.
Cover and let stand 60 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix the zaatar and olive oil in a small container.
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Divide the dough into 4 pieces and roll them out with a rolling pin, 0.15 inches (3-4 mm) thick, in a circle or oval shape. Place the circles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Spread the spice mixture on top.
Bake 5-8 minutes until the edges of the dough are nicely browned.
