To start the fall, there’s nothing like a plum cake! This recipe is perfect with fruits, roasted almonds and a delicious cinnamon whipped cream!
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Baking Time: 60 minutes at 350°F (180°C)

For: a round mold of 11 inches (28 cm) of diamater
For the dough
For the cinnamon whipped cream
Preheat the oven to 350° F (180° C).
In the food processor bowl, mix the butter, sugar and salt. Add the eggs one after the other, continue mixing until the mixture turns white.
Add the zest and lemon juice, mix.
In a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then add to the mixture.
Pour in the mold.
Place the plum halves vertically in the dough, sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Bake for about 60 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan.
Whip the cream with the sugar and cinnamon, serve with the cake.
