A grated apple pie with ground almonds and a creamy liaison. A simple and gourmet recipe!

For: a round mold of 11 inches (28 cm)
Ingredients
For the dough (pâte brisée)
- 125 g of all-purpose flour (125 g)
- 1/3 cup of butter (75 g)
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch of salt
For the filling
- 4 tablespoons of ground almonds
- 3 large apples, peeled, grated with a potato grater
For the liaison
- 2/3 cup of cream (1.5 dl)
- 1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons of milk (1 dl)
- 3 eggs
- 6 tablespoons of honey (100 g)
- Icing sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C).
2. Place all the ingredients for the dough in the food processor bowl and mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
3. Spread the dough on the lined baking sheet, prick the bottom with a fork.
4. Sprinkle the ground almonds.
5. Grate the apples and spread them on top.
6. Mix all the ingredients for the liaison, pour over the apples.
7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes at 430°F (220°C).
8. Sprinkle the pie with icing sugar while still warm or cooled.
