A new appetizer recipe! Rings with onions, simple to make and quickly tasted! The onions absorb the delicious aromas of Provence herbs and orange zest.

Yield: approximately 20 pieces, with a cookie cutter of 2.75 inches (7 cm) in diameter

1. Start by preparing the dough: mix all ingredients in the robot’s bowl and mix until you get a smooth dough. Wrap with food film and let rest 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
2. Meanwhile, sweat the onions in the butter. Add the orange zest and herbs, add the wine or broth, cook uncovered. Let cool.
3. Lower the dough very finely on a lightly floured surface.
4. Cut slices of Ø 2.75 inches (7 cm) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Garnish with onion rings, leaving an edge all around.
6. Bake for about 8-12 minutes at 430° F (220° C).
7. Serve warm or cold.
The trick : you can prepare the rings 12 hours in advance, let them cool. Just before serving them, put them again in the oven for 3-4 minutes at 350° F (180° C).
