Sweet and sour lovers, rejoice!
I propose a new salmon recipe that combines sweet and salty, as the salmon fillets are accompanied here by a succulent strawberry sauce, made with soy sauce and white balsamic vinegar.
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Rest Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Difficulty: easy
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
For the marinade
- 2 tbsp. white balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 4 salmon fillets with skin
- ½ tsp. salt
For the strawberry sauce
- 3 tbsp. white balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 8.8 oz strawberries, diced
- ½ bunch flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- a little pepper
Instructions
Start by preparing the marinade: mix the vinegar, oil, garlic and salt and brush over salmon. Place salmon fillets on a plate or in a freezer bag and marinate for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Prepare the strawberry sauce: mix the vinegar with the soy sauce and oil. Place strawberries in a bowl and add parsley. Drizzle with sauce and mix.
To finish: heat oil in a non-stick pan. Cook salmon for 4 minutes on each side. Arrange on plates and spoon sauce on top.
Serve with rice, quinoa, farro or other.
