Delicious pastries made with puff pastry, vanilla cream and whipped cream. So quickly devoured!

Baking Time: 15 minutes at 390° F (200° C)

For the vanilla cream
For the cones
1. Prepare the vanilla cream: mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and whip well (it is important to whip well, otherwise the corn starch could make lumps).
2. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
3. As soon as the cream thickens, move away from the pan and continue to stir for about 2 minutes.
4. Cool and chill for at least 1 hour.
5. Prepare the cones: cut the puff pastry into slices.
6. Surround each band around a cone.
7. Brush with the yolk.
8. Sprinkle with sugar.
9. Bake for about 15 minutes at 390° F (200° C).
10. Remove the cones immediately.
11. Whip the whipped cream. Add it to the vanilla cream while whisking well, in order to mix both creams well.
12. Using a piping bag, garnish each cone with cream, trying to get to the bottom.
Good to know: the amount of cream is more than enough for about twenty cones.
The trick: instead of sprinkling sugar cones before baking, do not put anything, but sprinkle with a little icing sugar just before serving.
