This is a new recipe with apples, hazelnuts and cinnamon. It consists of a cookie dough, then a stuffing with grated apples, cinnamon and ground hazelnuts. The whole covered with apple slices.

Baking Time: 75 minutes at 355° F (180° C)

For: a round mold about 11 inches / 28 cm of diameter

1. Start by preparing the dough : work the butter in the tank of the robot, until the formation of small peaks.
2. Add sugar, salt and lemon zest, mix.
3. Add the eggs and whisk until a light mass is obtained.
4. Sift the flour and the baking powder and incorporate them into the mass.
5. Butter the mold and cover with parchment paper, then put the dough in it.
6. Prepare the filling: mix eggs, cream, sugar and lemon juice.
7. Stir in hazelnuts, cinnamon and grated apples.
8. Pour the filling into the mold.
9. Top with apple slices arranged like tiles.
10. Sprinkle with sugar.
11. Bake in the preheated oven at 355°F for 65-75 minutes. Let cool.
12. Sprinkle with icing sugar if desired.
