Cherries are in the spotlight again this week. After last week’s sweet recipe, here they are as part of a savory recipe, with salad, garlic bread, pistachios and olives.

Ingredients
For the garlic bread
- 4 slices of bread, cut in chunks
- 2 teablespoons of olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
For the salad
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 30 cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 big salad
- a handful of olives, pitted and halved
- a handful of pistachios, shelled
Instructions
In a frying pan, sauté the garlic in oil. Place the pieces of bread and soak them in oil. Toast them for a few minutes on each side.
Meanwhile, in a salad bowl, mix the mustard, lemon juice and oil and season.
Add the cherries, the salad, the olives, then the bread, mix.
Spread the salad on the plates. Sprinkle with pistachios.
