Eating chicken and rice is pretty common, so for a change from traditional recipes, here’s a delicious recipe with an Asian flavour and a touch of honey!

Ingredients
For the chicken
- 700 g chicken breast, cubed
- 20 ml soy sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tsp olive oil for cooking
- 10-15 g honey
For the rice
- 480 g basmati rice
- 2 garlic cloves
- a small ginger piece, grated
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 15 ml soy sauce
- 10 g honey
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
Instructions
Start by cooking the rice according to package directions.
Meanwhile, prepare the chicken: cut into cubes and place in a bowl. Add the soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder and squeezed lemon. Mix well and leave to stand for 30 minutes.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken on all sides for about 6-7 minutes.
Remove from the heat, add the honey and pour the chicken into a bowl. Set aside.
In the same pan, sauté the bell pepper, garlic and ginger for 5 minutes.
Add cooked rice. Mix well.
Add soy sauce, honey and lemon juice and mix well.
Add the chicken and mix well.
Divide between soup plates and serve immediately.
